REGARDING: NEW HOUSE CONSTRUCTION AT 491 - 57TH AVENUE NE
On September 19, 1991, I took eleven, 4 foot deep borings in the
excavation for a new house and garage. The holes were drilled 4
feet deep and no bad or uncompacted soil was encountered.
The owner dug two additional holes, 8 inches in diameter, six to
seven feet below the basement elevation and no bad soil was
visible.
Therefore, the go ahead was given to start forming the footings
which are to be 24 inches wide 8 inches thick, with two #4 rebars.
