Memo - Srvy & Bld App - 05.02.14 Buberl, Jolene From: Julkowski, Ron Sent: Friday, April 08, 2016 12:27 PM To: Buberl, Jolene Subject: FW: Survey and Building Application for 5965 Oakwood Manor Attachments: 5965 Oakwood Manor Application with Comments.pdf From: Kosluchar, Jim Sent: Friday, May 02, 2014 2:10 PM To: thofanoka@gmail.com Subject: Survey and Building Application for 5965 Oakwood Manor Tony: Thanks for discussing this permit with me today, sorry for the phone tag earlier in the week. I can approve the site survey and grading with the following additions/modifications: 1. Provide a sketch of proposed contours on the south side of the house. See the attached notes, there is an apparent low area south of the house that should be maintained to hold minor rain amounts, and avoid routing direct runoff to the neighbor to the south. I suggest lowering the area around this low point approximately 0.5' in a 10' (average) radius to provide similar storage to offset fill that is planned. The owner may want to consider alternative ground cover here. 2. Place the following note on the survey: Per City Code, it is the responsibility of the builder to ensure all soil erosion is contained within the building site. The builder is responsible to install perimeter silt fencing and rock construction entrance where needed to prevent sediment and vehicle tracking into the street. Other notes: 3. Tree removal needs to be performed by a contractor licensed in the City of Fridley. 4. There is no plan by the city to remove the tree on the corner of Oakwood and 601h. If you choose to remove this tree or other trees in the City right-of-way, a permit for work in right-of-way should be completed by the contractor with a letter authorizing removal from the property owner (permit fee will be waived). Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
