Please recall that the purpose of my visit was to determine whether or not your home at 5297 Lincoln Street N.E. was safe for habitation and when I requested permission to inspect the home you declined my request. During our conversation you stated that you had no supply of water and that the wall heater was not working. These are two of the items required for sanitary and safe occupancy of a home. The CONTRACTOR agrees to pay all persons furnishing labor and material in and about the performance of the Contract; and the CONTRACTOR will, within ten (10) working days after the acceptance of the CONTRACTOWs Bid, execute this Contract and fumish a bond to be approved by the AUTHORITY in a sum equal to 100% of the full amount of the Bid. The CONTRACTOR further agrees to take all precautions to protect the public against injury and to save the AUTHORITY harmless from all damages and claims of the CONTRACTOR or the CONTRACTOR's Agents or Employees while engaged in the performance of this Contract and will indemnify the AUTHORITY against all claims, liens and claims for liens for labor performed or material fumished as aforesaid and against all loss by reason of the failure of the CONTRACTOR in any respect to fully perform all obligations of the Contract. The AUTHORITY agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR for the performance of this Contract, and the CONTRACTOR agrees to accept in full compensation thereof the prices set forth within the attached Proposal. The CONTRACTOR and the AUTHORITY agree that all of the terms of this Contract shall be binding upon themselves, their heirs, administrators, executors, legal and personal representatives, successors, and assigns.
