City Planner Jerrold Boardman and'Information
Librarian Jacquelyn Harlow discuss materials
available through the Housing Resource Center.
WHAT IS A HOUSING RESOURCE CENTER?
A collection of specialized information resources deals with such subjects as alternative
energy, solutions to unsightly walls, floors, ceilings, landscaping plans and "how-to" in-
formation on building additions and garages. The Anoka County Library - City of Fridley
Housing Resource Center has answers for those remodeling questions.
The HRC was established as a joint effort between the Anoka County Library and the City of
Fridley and was funded through a HUD grant to the City. This grant allowed for the pur-
chase of books and materials that are now available to the public in the area of Housing
Rehabilitation.
All kinds of remodeling questions can be answered at the Housing Resource Center - NOW!
For more information, contact the Fridley City Hall (571-3450) Ext, 144 or the Anoka
County Library Fridley Branch. (571-1934)
