The total square footage of accessory structures are not to exceed 1,400 square feet. The total square footage of all existing and proposed structures on this site is 1,200 square feet. Also the petitioners will be seeking a variance from the Appeals Commission on August 18. This is to recognize an existing non-conformity reducing the required side yard setback from 25 feet to 13 feet to allow a new accessory structure to be constructed to the same setback. Ms. Hanson stated staff recommends approval with the following stipulations: 1. The petitioner must install a code-approved hard surFace driveway by July 20,2003. 2. Mr. Richard Kemper, 7857 Alden Way, stated he has lived here for 25 years. He has no problem with the stipulation. Mr. Kondrick asked if any neighbors expressed any concern. Mr. Kemper stated their neighbors have no concerns. Ms. Savage asked if any neighbors have expressed any concerns to Ciry staff. Ms. Hanson stated staff has not heard from any neighbors.
