�102.05. PERMIT FEE .
Prior tfl constructmin�or repair 4f any water ar sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and any
house or build'mg for which the application is naade,the owner or cantractor shall be required to obtam a
. pe�ut for such connection,and shalt pay a.permit fee as provided in Chagter 11 of tbis Cod�. After such
__ connection has been made,the Water and Sewer I7ep�tment shall be notified. It shall be imla'wful to cover
an.y connecting line until az�.inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident therato
has been agproved by the City as a proper and s�dtable coimection.
402A6. REPAIILS AND MAIl�tTENANCE TO CONNECTION
Af�er the initial connection has been made to the water service ciab stop box or the sewer lead at the
properly line or a wates'service or sewer lead has been extended to the property line for c�eclion,the
agplica�t,owner,or ii�e aacugant or user of such premises shall be liable for all repaizs req��ed to�y
water line and any sewer lines necessary for cannection of the premises from the m�n.to the premises• If
the property owner requests maintenan.ce services or repairs be gerfornied by the City,the property owner
shall ba charged for t�e costs af the maintenance and/or repairs,in.clud'mg aay necessary street regairs,at a
rate set ann.ually by an.adm�n���ive policy. It shall be the responsbitity of t}ie applic�t,ownea,occnPant
or user ta'perform stand�'d maintenance of the sewer service lin.e frnm the preniises to t�►e main including
debris clearing ar roat cutting and to maintain.the water service curb stop bog for operab�7ity and at such
