Dear Mr. Brickner: This is to respond to your letter of September 25, 1989 regarding the park dedication fees and storm sewer fees for a 24 unit townhouse project on Rice Creek Road, east of Old Central Avenue. The City's policy is as follows: 1. A park fee of $500. 00 per unit will be reguired. The park fee for a single family unit is $1, 500 based on 9, 000 square feet of lot area. A townhouse project which is similar to the project you propose requires a lot area of 3, 000 square feet for each unit. Therefore, the park fee of $1, 500 is divided by 1/3 , which equals $500. 00 per unit. 2 . A storm water fee of $267.00 per unit will be required. Using the same rationale as stated in 1 above, $800. 00 divided by 1/3 equals $267.00. Thank you for your patience regarding this information. If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to contact myself of John Flora.
