After such con�ection has been made,the 1Nater and Sewer Department shall be notified. It shall be unlawful to cover any connecting line until an in5pection has been made and such connection and the wo�k incident thereto has been approved by the�ty as a proper and suitable connection. 402.06.REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CONNECTION After the initial wnnection has been made to the water service curb stop box ur the sewer lead at the property line or a water service or sewer lead has been extended to the property line for connection,the applicant,owner, or the occupant or user ot such premises shall be liabie for aii repairs required to any water line and sewer lines necessary far connection of the premises from the main ta the premises. !f the prop��ty owner requests maintenance service o�repairs be performed by the Gty,the property awner shall be charged for the costs of the maintenance and/or repairs, induding any necessary street repafrs,at a rate set annually by an adminlstrative po[icy. It shall be the responsibitity uf the applicant,awner,occupant or user to perform stahdard maintenance of ' the sewer service line from the premises to the main inciuding debris clearing or root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for aperability and at such height as wili ensure that it remains above the finished � grade of the land or property.
