402.05.PERMIT FEE
Prior to canstructing or repair of any water or sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and any house
or building f�r whic�the application is made,the owner or contractor shail be required to obtatn a permit for such
connectian,and shall pay a permit fee as pruvided in Chapter 11 of this Code. After such cannection has been
made,the Water and Sewer Departroent shaA be notified. It shalt be unlawful to cover any connecting tine until an
inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereta has heen approved by the City as a
praper and suitabte connectton.
402.06.REPAIRS AND MAlNTENANCE TO CONNEC[ION

line or a water service or sewer lead has been extended to the propertyline for connection,the appiicant,awner,
or the occupant or user of such premises shall be liable for all repairs required to any water tine and sewer lines
necessary for connection of the premises ftom the main ta the premises. If the propgtty owner requests
maintenance service or repairs be performed 6y the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the
. maintenance and/or repairs, including any necessary street repairs,at a rate set annually by an administrative
policy, It shall be the respunsi6ility of the applicant,awner,occupant or user to perFarm standard maintenance of
• the sewer service{ine from the premises ta the main includtng deb�clearing or root cutting and to rnaintain the
water service curh stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
