402.05.PERMtT FEE
Prior to canstructing or repair af any water ar sewer line connecting the.existing municipal system and any house
oc building for which the applicatian is made,the owner or contractor shaA be required ta obtain a permtt for such
connection,and shail pay a permit fee as pravided in Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connectian has been
made,the Water and Sewer Department shall be notified. It shall be unlawful to cover any cvnnecting line until an
inspection has been made and such connection and the work inc(dent thereta has heen approved by the City as a
proper and suitabte connection.
4�2.06.REPAIRS AND MAlNTENANCE T0 CONNECTIQN

or the occupant or user of such premises shatl be liable for alt repairs required to any water fine and sewer iines
necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises, if the prope[ty owner requests
maintenance service or repairs be perfarened hy the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the
. ma9ntenance andJor repairs, inctuding any necessary street repairs,at a rate set annua{ly by an administrative
policy. It shall be the responsibility of the appli�ant,owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of
