402.5 PERf1AIT FEE
Prior to constructing ar repair of any water of sewer line cannecting the existing municipal system and arry house ar building for which the
application is made,the awner or contrador shall be required to abtain a permit for such connection,and shall pay a permitfee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be nofified. It shall i�e unlawfui to cover
any connecting line urrtil art inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approYed by the Crty as a
proper and suitable connedion.
402.06 REPA(RS AND MAINTEPIANCE TO CONNECTI0IV
After the initiat connectiort has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water senrice 9ead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarit,owner,or occupar�t or user of such premises shail be liable for alt repairs
required to any water line and sewer fines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shail be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annualiy by an administrative poticy. it shalt be the responsibitity of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer senrice line from the premises to the main inciuding debris dearing o�
roat cutting and xo maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finishet!
