402.5 PERMIT FEE
� Prior to constructing ar repair o#arry water of sewer line conneding the exssting municipa{system and any house or bui(ding for which the
application is made,the owner or corttractor shail be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sha{f pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmeat shatt be notified, tt sha11 be unlawfui to cover
any connecting line until an i�spection has been made and such connection and the worlc incident thereto has been appcoved by the City as a
proper and suitable rnnnection.
9A2.06 REPAfRS AND MA6NTENAPtCE'CO COWIYECTION
After the initiai co�nection has been made to the water senrice curb skop box or the sewer lead at the property line ar a water se�vice lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the agpiicant,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shali be iiable for all repairs
required to any waiter line and sewer{ines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property oarner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be perFormed by the CrLy,the property ouvner shall be charged for the costs of the mair�tenance and/or
repairs,inc(uding necessary street repairs at a rate set annual{y by an administrative policy. It shal!be the responsibility af the applicanfi,
owner,occupant or user to perForm standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main induding debris clearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the+aater service curb stop hox for operabitity and at such height as wifi ensure that it remains above the finished
