402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the extsting municipai system and arry house ar building for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shatl be required to o6tain a permit for such connection,and shal(pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Searer Departmerrt shal[�notified. ft shait be unlawful to cove�
ar�connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connectivn and the work inciderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitahle connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AiYD MAINTEPIANCE TQ COPlNECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water senrice wrb stop box or the searer lead at the properLy line or a water seroice lead has
been extended to the prvperty line for connection,the applicarit,awner,or occvparit or user of such premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection ef the premises from the main to the premises. tF the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be perFormed by the�ty,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. It shall be the respansibility of the applicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearirtg or
roo#cutting and+to mairrtain#he water service curb stop box for operabitity and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
