402.5 PERMIT FEE
� Prior to+canstructing ar repair of arry water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and any house or buildtng for which the
application is made,the owner er contracCor shat!be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shaU pay a pe�nit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 af this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmer�t shal(be not�fied. tt shail be unfawfu!to cover
arry connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPA(RS AND MAINTENANCE TO COI�lMECTION
After the initial conneceian has been made to tfie water senrice curb stop f�ox or the sewer tead at the property line or a water service iead has
been extended fio the property line tor connectton,the applicant,awner,ar occuparrt ar user of such premises shall be liable for alt repairs
required to any water(ine and sewer lines necessary for connectiort af the premises from the main to the premises. lf the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be perFormed by the City,fihe property owner shaN be charged for the costs of tMe mairitenance and/or
repairs,inctuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annual{y!�y an administrative policy. It shall be Che respo�sibility af the appiicac�t,
owner,occupar�t or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main induding debris clearing or
root cutting end to maintairt tlae water service curb stop hvx for operabitity and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
