402.5 PERMiT FEE
Prior to constructi�or repair af any water of sewer tine connecting the existing municapaf sqs#em and ar�y house or buitdt�for wfiich tfie
apptication is made,the owner or corrtractor shatl be required to abtain a permit for such connection,and shail pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 af this Code. Afker such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmern shall be notfied. it shall be unlawful to cove
any connecting line until an inspection has been r�ade and such connection and the work inciderrt thereto has been approved by t,�e City as a
proper and suitable connQctsan.

been extended to the property line for cannection,the appiicarrt.owner,or accupasrt os user of such premises shaif be iiabie for atl repairs
required to any wa#er line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property owner
requests mairrtenance ser+rice or repairs be performed by the City,the proper+ty owner shall be charged for the costs af the maicrtenar�and/ar
repairs,induding necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaily by an administrative pol'icy. tt shaU he the responsbili#y cf the applicarrt,
owner,�occuparn or user to perform standard mairrtenance of i�e sewer service line from tf�e premises to the main�ndudi�debris deartng or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop hoec far operabitity and at such height as wii!ensure that it remains above fihe finished
