402.5 PERMlT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house ar twiidirig for which the
application is made,the oarner ur corrtractor shait be required to obtain a permit for such con�ection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has i�een made,the Water and Sewer pepartmeirt shaU be nottified. Pt shall6e unlawful to tover
arry con�ecting line ur�til an inspection has been made aad such connectivn and the wor(c incident thereto has been approved by#he Cty as a
proper and suitabfe wnnection.
402.06 REPAIRS RWD MAINTENANCE TO COPtNECTION
After t6e initiai connectton has 6een made to the water service curi�stop 6ox or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service tead has
been extended to the property line for wnnection,the applicartit,owner,or occuparrt ar user of such premises shall be liable for att repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for conaection uf the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be perFormed by fihe�ty,the property owner shall be charged for the costs oE the maintenance andJor
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poiicy. It shall be the resparisibility af the appUcacrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main includiag debris clearing or
root cutting and to mairttain the water service curb stop box for operabil'�ty and at wch iteight as will ensure that it remains above the finished
