402.5 PERMdT FEE
Prior to constructi�or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing muniapal system and arry fiouse or bufldir�for which the
appiication is made,the owner or cor�traactor shall be required m obtain a permit for such connection,and shaU pay a permit fee as provided irr
Chapter 11 of this Code. Aii;er such connection has been made,tfie Water and Sewer Departmerit shali be not�ed. it shall be untawful to cove
any connecting line until an ir�spection has been made and such connection arid the wor�c inciderrt thereto has been approved by the Crty as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAiRS AND lNAtNTENANCE T�CONNECTION
After the init�al connecfiion has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water�n�ice lead has
been extended to the property iine for connection,the appiicarrt,owner,or occupartt or aser aF such premises shali be liabie for al�repairs
required to any water line and sewer IFnes necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property rnpner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs 6e performed by the City,the property owner shail be charged for the costs of the mairrtenan�and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poliry. tt shali be the responsbili#y of the applicar�t,
owner,occuparrt or user to perform standard maimenance of the sewer service line from the premtses to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operabil'rty and at such height as wiil ensure that it remains a6ove the finished
