402.5 PERAAIT FEE
Prior to constructing ar repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house or buiiding for which the
appiication is made,the owner or corifiractor shall be required to obtain a permit for suc6 connection,and shaU pay a permii fee as provided in�
Chapter 11 of thes Code. After such connection has i�een rnade,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be notified. it shall be untawful to cove
any connecting line until an irtspection has been made and such connection and the wortc inciderrt thereto has 6een approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAiRS AND MAtAITEA(qWCE TO CONNEC770N
After the initial connectivn has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service lead has
been extended to the property iine for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or accuparrt or user of such premises shall be ifabie fa�all repairs
required to any water line and sewer Itnes necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tF the property owrrer
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the Crty,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the mai�rMe and/or
repairs,including necessary stre,et�epairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. R shal!be the responsbility of the appiicarrt,
owner,occuparrt or user to perform standard maintenance of#he sewer service line from the premises to the main includtng debris dearing or
root cvtting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wiii ensure that it remains above the finished
