402.5 AERArtIT FEE
Prior to t;onstructing or repair of any wa�ter of sewer tine connecting the existing municipat system and any house or buiiding for which the
appt3cation is macie,the owner or corrtractor shatl be required to obtain a perm�t for such connection,and shali pay a permit fee as provided irr
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such conr�ection has been made,fihe Water and 5ewer Departmer�t shall be not�Fied, it shail be untarvful to cove
any connecting line until an irrspection has been rnade and such connection and#t�e wor&incidem thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.

After the initial connectiort has been made to the water service a�rb stop box or the sewer lead at the peaope+rty line os a water service lead fias
been extended to the property line for connection,the appiicarrt,owner,or accuparrt or user of such premises shatl be liabie for all repairs
required ta any water l�ne and sewer fines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property orrner
requests matntenance seroice or repairs be performed by the C'�ty,the property awnar shatl be eharged fior the cos�of the mairKenar�ce and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs afi a rate set annua0y fry an administrative poticy. tt shaq be the responsibility of the applicar�t,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of ihe sewer service line from the premises to#he main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wili ensure that it remains above the fin�shed
