402.5 PERMtT FEE
Prior to constnrcting or repair crF any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and acry house or building for which the
apptication is made,the owner ar corrtractor sftatl t�e required to obtain a p,erm�t for such connection,and si�all pay a perm�fee as providecl in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be notified. it shall be untawful to cove
any connecting line u�rtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the wos^icc�oaderrt thereto has been approved iry the C'rty as a
proper and suitable connection.

After the initiaf connection has been made to the water service curb stog boK or the sewer kad at the prope�ty iine or a water senrice lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or accupaM or user of such prem+sQs shatl be tiabie for al{repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connedion of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property owner
requests mairrtena�ce service or repairs be perFormed by the C'rty,tfie property owner shatl be charged for the�af the mairrterrance and(a
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaily by an administra#ive poliry. It shall be the responsbii'rty af the applicarrt,
owner,ocEupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of xhe sewer service fine from the premises to fihe main incfu�ng debrts dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the waYer service curb stop box#or operability and at such 6eight as wiil ensure tfiat st remair�s above the i�nished
