402.5 PERMtT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water af sewer line connecting the exist(ng municipai system and arry house or bullding for which the
appiication is made,the owner or contractor sha11 be required to obtain a permR for such connection,and shall pay a permit fee asprovided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connettion has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be notified. It shalf be uniawfu{to cover
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the wortc incident thereto has been approved by#he Caty as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS APiD MAINTENANCE TO C�MNECTtOM
After the initiai connection has been rnade to the water service curb stop fiox o�the sewer lead at the property line or a water service tead has
been extended to the property line for connedion,the appiicarrt,owner,or occuparrt o�user of such premises shaN be liabie for all repairs
required to any water tine and sewer tines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. ff the property owner
requests rnairrtenance service or repairs be performed by fihe C'rty,the propertyr owner shali be charged for the ca�sts of the maiMenance a�d/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poliry. It shall be the respansibility of the appficant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenence of Che sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
