CHAPTER 402.WATER,STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWER

402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to co�structing or repair of arry water of sewer line connecting the ettisting municipal system and any house or buikling for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shall be required to obtain a perrsiit for such connection,and shati pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Cade. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shali be notified. It shail be unlawfui to cover
any connecting line unti!are inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable wnnection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAlIVTENANCE TO CONNECT{ON
After the initial connection has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property{ine or a water service iead has
bean extended to the property line for connedion,the applicarit,owner,or occupant or user of such premises shall be liabte for aU repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for tonnection of the premises from the main to the premises. ff the property owner
requests mai�tenance service or repairs be perFormed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs aF the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poliry. It shal{be the responsibifity of the applicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mainteoance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main indudir�g debris clearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
