402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipai system and arry house or buiiding fo�which the
applfcation is made,the owner or wr�tractor sha(I be required ta obtain a permit for such connection,and shali pay a permit fee as prvvided in•
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shali be notified. it shail be untawful to cover
arry connecting line ur�til an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inciderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitabte connection.
402.06 REPAiRS AND MAINTEAIANCE T�CONNECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the propecty iine or a water senrice lead has
been exfiended to the property line for connectton,the applicarrt,owner,or accupant or user af such premises shatt be liabie fa�ali repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connedion af the premises frvm Che mai�to the premises. tF the property owner
requests maintenance senrice or repairs be performed by fihe C"�ty,the property owner shall be charged fo�#he costs of the maintenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administra#ive policy. It shall be the responsibility of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer senrice{ine from tfie premises to the main induding debris dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain#he water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
