402.5 AERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water af sewer line connecting the existing munici�tal system and arry house or 6uilding for whicFi the
application is made,the owner or cornractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sNall pay a permit fee as provided in�
Chapter 11 of this Code. After wch co�nection has been made,the Water and Sewer DepartmeM sha8 be noti�ed. It shaif be unlawful to cover
arry connecting tine urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inaderrt thereto has been appcoved by the C1ty as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAIPITENANCE TO CONNEC170N
After the initial co�nectiort has been made to#he water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at fihe property line or a water service lead has
been extended to the property line for wn�ection,the app{icarrt,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shall lm IfaWe for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests main#enance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for the sosts of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annuafly by an administrative poliry. It shall be the responsibility ot'the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or use�to perform standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root sufiting and to mairrtain the water service r,urb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
grade of the land or property. (Ref 638,1156,1191)
