app4�cation is made,the owner or cor�tractor shall be requiced to obtain a permrt for such wnnedion,and shall pay a permit fee as provided irr �
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shaii be nottfied. !t shali be untawful to c�ver;

After the ln'rtiai connection has been made to tfie water service curb stop box or the sewer tead afi the property iine or a water service lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the appiicarrt,owner,or accupant or user of such prem(ses shait 6e IiaMe for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connedion of the premises from the main to the premises, tF the property ow�er
requests maintenance service os repairs be performed by the C'rty,the properly owner shati be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance andjor
repairs,inctudin�necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative po�icy. It shall he the responsibility of tfie applicarrt,
owner,occuparrt or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including ctebris clearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the w+ater service curb stop box for operahility and at such fieigfit as wiil ensare that it remains above the finisP�ed
