� Prior to�onstructing ar repair of any water of s�wer line connecting the existing municipa4 system and any house or buitding for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shait be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and sha{I pay a perr»it fee as provided in
Chapter 11 af this Code. After such connection has been snade,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shatl tse notified. {t sfiai(be uniawful to cover
any cannecting line urrtil an inspection has beert made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved try tfre City as a
proper and suitable connection.

After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop hox or the sewer tead at the property line or a arater service iead has
been extended to the property line for�onnecfiion,the applicant,owner,or occupar�t or user of such premises shall he iiai�te for att repa�rs
required fia any waite�tine and sewer{ines necessary for connection af the premises from the main to the premises. 1f#he properCy owner
requests mairltenance service flr repairs be performed foy the�ity,the prope�ty vwner shall be cfiarged for the�of the maintenartce andJor
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annualty by an administrative policy. lt sha(!6e tfie responsibility af the applicant,
