Pr�or#o constructing or repair of any water of sewer tine connecting the existing municipa(system and arry house or butlding for which the
appiication is macte,the owner or caMsactvr sha(f be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shall pay a pertnii fee as provided in�
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shail be notif'ied. tt shail be uniawfui to crover
any connecting(ine until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work iocideM thereto has been appcoved by the City as a
proper and witabte connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAiNTEIYANCE T�CUNNECTION
After the initiaf connection has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property iine or a water servic�iead has
been extended to the property P�e for connection,tfie appiica►rt,owner,or accupant or use�of such prerriises shalf be liaWe for aq repairs
required to any water fine and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. ff the properly rnrner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged far tfie costs of the maiittenance and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annuafly by an administrative poliry. it shail be ti�e responsbifity of the apqlicarrt,
owner,occuparrt or use�to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main induding deb�is dearing or
root cutting and to mairitain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remai�a6o�the finished
