402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to tonstructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipai system and arry house o�iouildir�fvr whic.�the
application is made,the owner or contractor shalt be required to obtain a permR for such connection,and shall pay a permitfee as provided i�r
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shall be notified. it shail be untawfui to cover
arry connecting line until an ir�spection has 6een made and such connection and the work inaderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable cannection.
402.05 REPAlRS AMD MAttYT£AfANCE TO CONNECTIQN
After the tnifiial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the serrer lead at the pcopefty line or a water servke lead(�as
been extended to fihe property line for connection,the applic�rrt,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shall be ifabie for ap repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the mai�to the premises. tf the property owner
requests main#enance service or repairs be perFormed by the C'�ty,the proper#y ovnner shafl be charged for#he costs of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaily by an administrative policy. It shali he ttte respvnsibility of the applicant,
owner,vccupant or user to perForm standard mairrtenance of the sewer serwice{�ne from the premises to the main inciudirig debris dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service surb sfiop box for operabil'rty and at such height as will ensure that Pt remains above the$nished
