402.5 PERMlT FEE
Prior to constructing vr repair of any water of sewer line connecCing the existing munidpaf system and arry hause or building for which the
app(ication is made,the owner or corrtractov shait be required#o obfiain a permit for such connection,and shaD pay a permit fee as provided in�
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has i�een rnade,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shati be ooti�Ped. tt sfiatl be uniawfiul to cove
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inaden�t Chereto has been approved by the C�ty as a
proper and suitable connecfiian.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTEfYANCE TO CONNEC710N
After the initiat connection has been made to the water senrice curb stop 6ox or the sewer tead at the property line or a water senrice lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or accuparn or user af such premises shali be liabie for a11 repairs
required to a.ny water line and sewer lines necessary for connedion of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the qropercy owner
�equests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the CPty,#he property owner shatl be cfiarged for the costs o�f the mai»tenance and/or
repairs,inctuding necessary meet repairs at a rate set annuaity by an administrative poiicy. it shaii be the responsibility of the applicarit,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance ofi the sewer service line from the premises to fihe main anduding deh�is dearing or
