402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of arry water of sewer line connecting the existing municipai system and any house or{wilding for which the
application is made,the awner or corrtractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shaii pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be natified. It shali be unlawPul Co cover
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inadent thereto has been approued by ihe City as a
proper and suitable connectiort.
40Z.06 REPAIRS AND MAIPITE1VqNCE TO CONNECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service Itad has
been extended to the property line for connecCion,the app(icant,owner,or occupar►t flr user of such premises shalt be liable for alt repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tf the property owner
requests maintenance service ar repairs be performed by the C'rty,the property owner shali be charged fo�the costs of the maiMenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poticy. It sfial{be the responsibility af the appiicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perForm standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain tfie water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wiil ensure that it remains above the finished
