402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to wnstructing or repair of any wate�of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and any house or bu�tding for which t�fie
' appfication is made,the owner or contractor shal!be required to obtain a permit for such mnnection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided irt
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmer�t shati be notified. it shaD be unfawful to caver
any connecting line until an inspection has been matle and such wnnection and the work incident thereto has been approved by thq�ity as a
proper and suitable connection.
4QZ.06 REPAiRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CONNEC710N �
After the initial connectian has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the prvperty line or a rv�r service lead has '
been extended#o the property line for connection,the app{icarrt,owner,or accuparrt or user of such premises shalt be liabie f�r ai1 repairs
' required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the maio to the premises. if the prop�wrty ow�r
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shali be charged for the costs of the main�enac�ce and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by a�administratire poficy. It shafi be the responsibility ofthe applicarrt,
owner,oaupant or user to pes�fosm standard maintenance of the sewer service tine from the premises to tfie main includi�debra dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stap box for operabii'�ty and at such height as�ritl ensure that it remains above the finished
