402.5 PEttMtT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipat system and a�house or buildi�fur whid��►e
appiication is made,the owner or corrtractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shall pay a perm�fee as provided ir�
Chapter 1Z of this Code. After such connection fias been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be nottfied. It shall be uniawful to cover
any co�necting line until an inspection has been made and such con�ection and the wor8c incSdent thereto fias been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AR1D MAIPiTENANCE TO CONNECI'I�f
After the initia!connection has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service lead has
been exfiended to fihe property line for connection,the appiicarrt,owner,or accupant or user of such premises shatl be liabie for ali repatrs
required#o any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to tfie premises. if the�xoperty onrner
requests mairnenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shaii be charged for the costs of ihe mairitenance and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrati�e poliry. It shal!be tite responsbil'rty of the applicant,
owner,occupant os us�r to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer senrice line from the premises to the main includirig debris dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operability and at sucfi heigtrt as will ensure that it remains above the finished
