402.5 PERMlT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of am/water of sewer line wnnecting the e�asting municipal system and any house or 6uilding for which the
applicafion is made,the owner or comaractor shali be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shalt pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shall be notified. Ifi shall be unlawful to cove�
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the Crty as a
proper and suitah(e connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTERIANCE TO CONNECTION
After the initiai co��ection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service iead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occuparrt ar user af such premises shall he IiTabte for al(repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of tf�e premises from the main to the premises. tf the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the mairrtenartce and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. It shafl be tt�e responsibility of the applicarit,
owner,occupant ar user to perForm standard maintenance af the sewer service line from the premises to the main incfuding debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wif{ensure that it remains above the finished
