402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair ofi any wafier of sewer line connecting the existing municipat system and arry house or buildir�for wh�Ch the
application is made,the owner or torrtractor shatf be required to abtain a permifi for such connection,and sfiall pay a permit fee as pro�ided in•
Chapter 12 af this Code. After such connection has�en made,the Water and Sewer Departmer�t shall be rtotified. It sEsait be ontawfut to c�ver
any cannecting line ur�tii an irrspection has 6een made and such conrtiedion and the work inciderrt thereto has be�en approved Ery the City as a
proper and suitabte connectio�.

After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at fihe property iine or a water servke leed has
been exfiended Lo the property line for connec�ivn,the appiiprrt,aamer,or accupant or user of such premises shall be liable for a!I repairs
required to any water line and sewer Ilnes necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the prem'�ses. tf the property owner
rer{uests mairrtenance service or repairs be perFormed by the C'tty,the property owner shatl be charged for the costs o�f the maicrtenance and/a
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaNy by an administrative policy. it shall be the responsbil'�ty of the applicarrt,
owner,occupartt or user to perform standard mairitenancQ of the sewer service iine from the premises to the main iacluding debris dearing or
root cutting and ta mairitain the water service turb stop box for operability and at such heigfit as wili ensure that it remair�ahove the finished
