402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing ar s epair of any water of sewer tine connecting the existing municapat system and arry hause or buiiding for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shall be required to o6tain a permifi for such connection,and shal!pay a permi#fee as proeic(ed in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has 6een made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt sf�all be notffied. R shalt l�unlawfu!to cove
any connecting line urrtif an inspection�as been made and such connecCion and the worh inadertt thereto has been approved by ifie City as a
proper and suitable connectio�a.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAlPiTENANCE Tt�CONNEC77QN
After the initiai connection has been made to the water service arb stop box or the sewer lead afi the property iine or a water sesrice lead has
bee�extended tfl fihe property iine for connection,the appiicarrt,vwner,or accupan#or user of such premises shat{be liabi�fur a1(repairs
required to any water I�ne and sewer lines necessary for connection af the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be perFormed by the City,the property rnvner shali be charged for the�sts aE the rtwirrtenac�ce and/o�
repairs,inctuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administra#ive polscy. It shal!be the responsibility of d�e applicarrE,
awner,occuparrt or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service fine from the premises to the main induding detuis dearing or
root cutting and to sttairrtain the water service curb stop l�ox for operabtlity and at sucfi heigfit as witl ensurs that it remains abave[he fir►ished
