402.5 PERMiT FEE
Prior to constructin�or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house or iwi{ding for which the
application is made,the awner or contractor shall be required to abtain a permit for such connection,and sha(1 pay a permi#fee as providec)in
C6aptsr 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shali be notified. It shall be unlawful to coves
any connecting line urrCi{an inspection has been made and such connection and the wortc sncident thereto has been approved by the C(ty as a
groper end suitahle connection.
�02.06 REPAIRS AND MAIRITEMANCE TO COPiP1ECTiON .
After the initiat connection has 6een made to the water senrice wrb stop box or tl�e sewer iead at the properly tine or a water seroice lead has
been eutended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occuparst vr user of such premises shafl be liable for ail repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. tE the property owner
requests maintenance senrice or repairs be performed by the City,the property oarner shali be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance andio�
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annualty by an administrative poliry. It shatl be the responsibility of the applicar►t,
owner,occuparrt or user to perPorm standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such beight as wiil ensure that it remains above the finished
