402.5 PERMIT FEE
� Prior to�onstructing or repair of any water of sewrer line connecting the existiog municipal system and arry house or buifding for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shal(be required to abtain a permit for such connection,and shail pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmeirt shall be not'rfied. R shall be unlawful to cover
any connecting tine until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has 6een approved by the CFty as a
proper and suitabie connectio�.
402.06 REPAtRS AND MAINTENANCE TO COPINECTION
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the praperty line or a water seniice lead has
besn extended to fihe property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occuparrt ar user of such premises shall I�liabie far aU repain
required to any water line artd sewer Iines necessary#or connection of the premises from the main to#he premises. If the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be perfvrmed by the City,the property oarner shall be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance andjor
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annualty by an administrative policy. It shall be the respo�sibility of the applicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of the seuver service line from the premises to the main including debris clearing or
root cutting and+to mairitain the+ara#es service curb stop hox fo�operabii'rty and at such height as wilt ensure that it remains above the finished
