402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house or buitding for which the
appiication is made,the owner or contrackor shall be required to obtain a permit for such cannection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter li of this+Code. After such co�nectivn has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shall be notified. It shalt be unlawful to covec
any connecting line until an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by t(te City as a
proper and suita6te connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AidD MAINTEPlANCE Tm COPINECTION
After the initial cronnection has been made to the wate�senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service lead has
been extended fio the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occuparrt ar user of wch premises shalt be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer 4ines necessary#or conneckion of the premises from the main to the premises. (f the property owner
requesfis maintenance service or repairs be perFormed by Che City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the maintenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annualFy by an administrative policy. It shall be the responsibility af the appiicarit,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water senrice curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remaios ebove the finished
