402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer I'sne connecting the existing murticipai sys#em and arry house or buiidir�g for which t�e
apptication is made,the owoer or comracto�shall be required#o obtain a permit for such connectioa,and shali pay a permit fee as prawided i�
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,tfie Water and Sewer Departmes�t shall be notified. It shail be untawfui to cover
ariy connecting line untii en inspection has been made and such connection and the work inciderrt thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suftabfe connection.
402.06 REPAtRS AND MAIAiTEWANCE TO COAfNECTiQN
After the initial connectiort has been made to the water senrice curb stop box or the sewer tead at the property line or�a wat�r servic�lead has
bee�extended to i�e property line far connection,the appiicarrt,owner,ar accupant or user of such premises shalt be iiabk for ali repairs
required to any arater(ine and sewer lines�ecessary t'or connection af the premises from the main to the premises. {f the properiy awner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner sfiaii be charged for t(�e costs of the mai�rtenanae andJor
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annuatiy by an administrative policy. It shalf be ti�e responsibility vf the appiicarrt,
ownev,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of the sevrer service{ine from the premises to the main induding debrts deartng or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wil{ensure that it remains a6ove tfie finished
