4a2.5 PERM{T FEE -.
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer iine con�ecting the existing municipal system and arry house or building for which the
application is made,the owner or coMractor sha(1 be required to obtain a permit far such con�ecCion,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer DepartmerrC shal[be rtot'rF'ied. It shail be unlaarfut to cover
any connecting line untif an inspettion has been made and such connection and�the work incidem thereto has been approved bY fihe City as a
proper and suitable connechion.
402.06 REPAlRS AiYD MAIP!'i'ENANCE TO COPINECTIOtH
After the initiat connection has been made to the water service airb stop box or the sewer lead at the properly line or a water service lead has
been extended to the property tine for connecfion,the applicant,owner,or occupant ar user of such premises shalt be liable far aq repairs
required Co any water line and sewer lines necessary#or connection of the prernises from the main to the premises. fF the property e�vner
requesfis maintenance service or repairs be perEvrmed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for the costs af the maintenance and/or
repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate set ennually by an administrati�e poliry. It shall be fihe responsibility of the app►icant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main inciuding debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operabitity and at suc(�fieigfit as wifl ensure that it remains above the finished
