402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipai system and arry house or huitding for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shalt be required to abtain a permit for such connection,and shali pay a penmit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be natified. tt shall be untaarful to cover
any co�necting line untit an inspection has been made and such connection and the worlc incident thereta has been approved by the City as a
groper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTEPIANCE TO CONPIECTION
After the inifiiat connection has besn made to the water servica curb stop bcx or the sewer tead at the property line or a water seroice lead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the app(icant,owner,or occupant or user of such premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer Iines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. If the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed 6y the C�ty,the property owner shall be charged for the casts efi the mai�enance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrafive policy. It shaU 6e the res�onsibility of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user fio perForm standard mairrtenance of the sewer service iine from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and Xo maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wili enwre that it remains above the finishec!
