402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior fio sonstructing or repair of any water of s�wer line connecting the existing municipa(system and any house or buiidir�g fer which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shall he required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shatt pay a pertnit fee as pravided i�
Chapter il of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shail be notified. It shaN be unlavrful to cover
any connecting line until an inspectian has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitabie connection.
402.06 REPAIRS ARlD MA{PITEPiANCE TO CONMECTION
After the initial con�ectio�has been rnade to tfie water senrice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water servk.e lead has
been eutended to the properry line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occupaut or user of such premises shall be fiabte for aN repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premises from the main to the premises. if the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for ihe�of the mairrtenance and/vr
repairs,includin�necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative policy. It shal{be the res�nsibility of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard maintenance of tfie sewer service fine from the premises to the main including debris cfearing or
root c�tting and to mairrCain the water service curb stop boz for operabitity and at such height as wiil ensure that it remains above the finished
