402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to construding or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipal system and arry house ar buiiding for which the
application is made,#he owner or contractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shafl pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be rtotified, it shall be untawful to cover
any co�necting liae urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the wortc incident thereto has E�en approved by#he City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS ANQ MAINTERIANCE TO COPIPIECTIOAI
After the initiai connectiort has been made to the water service cur6 stop I�ox or the sewer iead at the property line or a water service lead has
been extended to the prroperty(ine for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises shall t�liab(e for all repairs
required to any water line and searer lines necessary#or connection of the premises from the main ta the premises. tF the property�rner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for ihe costs aF the maiMenance and/or
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an admirtistrative poliry. it shall be the responsibii'rty of the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wili ensure that it remains above the finished
