CHAPTER 402.WATER,STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWER

402.5 PERflAiT FEE
Prior to canstructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipa!system and arry house ar building for which the
application is made,the owner or contractor shall be required to abtain a permit for such connection,and shaft pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Qepartmerrt shall be rtotified. It shali be unlawful to cover
any connecting line urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the C�ty as a
proper and suitable co�nection.
402.06 REPAIRS AMD MAINTEIYANCE TO COPIPlEC770N
After the initiat connection has besn made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer iead at the property line or a water senri�lead has
been 2xtended to the property line for connection,the applicant,owner,or occupant or user of sucfi premises shall 6e liable for alt repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary#or connection of the premises from the main ta the premises. If the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be charged for ihe costs of the maintenance and/ar
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annual(y by an administrative policy. It shall be the responsibitity of the appiicant,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main inciuding debris dearing or
root cutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
