402.5 PEftMiT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting#he existirtg municipaf system artd any house or building for which the,
application is made,the ow�er or cor�tractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connection,and shali pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shall be notified. 1t shall be unlawfut to cover
any co�necting line urtti!an inspection has been made and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
4Q2.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO COPIPlECT10N
After the initiat connectiort has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer iead at the properly ltne or a water service iead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occuparrt o�user of such premises shall be liable for all repairs
required to any water line and sewer tines necessary�for connection af the premises from the main to the premises. ff the�mperty owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the Cety,the property owner shafJ be charged for the c�ts of the mairrtenartce and/or
irepairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrati�ne poliry. It shaii be the respansibility of the applicarrt,
owner,occupa�rt or user fio perform standard mairrtenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main induding debris dearing or
root cutting and xo mairitain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
