402.5 PERMtT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing munic�pai system and any Fiouse or butldir�g for whid�i�e
application is made,the owner or corrtractor shalf be required to obtain a permit for such coanection,and shalt pay a perm�t fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shaN be not�ed. it shali be uniawful to cover
any connecting line urrtil an irtspection has been made and such connection and the work inciderrt thereto has been approved by the Ciiy as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPA4RS AND MAINTEtUANCE TO CONNECTION
After the initiat connection has been made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the propecty itne or a waCer service tead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or accupant or user of suth premises shafl be(iat�le for ail repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines netessary for connection a�f the premises from the main to the prem'�ses. ff the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shail be charged for the costs of the mafrrtenance and/rn
repairs,inctuding necessary street repairs at a rate set annually by an administrative poTicy. R shatl be the responsibility of the applicant,
owner,occupant os user to perform standard maintenance of the sewer service line from the p�emises to the main inciudtng debris clearing or
root tutting and to mairrtain the water service curb stop box for operabitity and at such height as wiil ensure ihat it remaims a6ove the finished
