After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department sfial{be notified. It shall be unlawful to cover any connecting Itne until an inspecti4n has been mede and such connection and the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a proqer and suitable connection. 402.05 REPAIRS AMD MAINTENANCE TO CONNECi70N After the i�itial con�ection has tseen made to the water service curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water senrice lead Mas been extended to the property line for connection,the applicarrt,owner,or occupaM or user of such premises shal!be liable for ail repairs required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for co�nection of the premises from the main to the premises. ff the property owner requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the C'rty,the property owner shall be charged for the costs of the mairrtenance and/or repairs,inciuding necessary street repairs at a rate se#aonuaily by an administrative poliry. It shail be the responsibility of the appiicaM, owner,occupa�t or user to perform standard malntenance of the sewer service line from the premises to tbe main induding debris ciearing or root cutting and to maintain fihe water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished grade of the land or property.
