402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior ta canstructin�or repair of arry water of sewer line cannecting the exisCing municipa!system and arry fiouse ar buildin;g for which the
application is made,#he owner or contrador shall be required to obtain a permit for such coneection,and shati pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 aF this Code. After sucfi cannection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shall be rtotfied. ft shait be uniawful to cover
any,connecting line urrtif an inspection has been made and such connection and the work inciderrt thereto has i�en approved by#he Crty as a
proper and suitable connection.
4Q2.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO COPiNECT10N
After the initial connection has been made to the water service curb stpp bpx or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service tead has
been extended to the property Iine for connection,the applicarit,owner,or occuparrt or user of such premises sha{{be iiabie for alt repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary far connection af the premises from the main ta the premises. tF the property owner
requests mairrtenance service or repairs be performec!by the City,the property owner shali be charged for the cosGs of the mairrtenance and/or
repairs,includiag necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaNy by an administrative policy. It shalt be the res�nsibil'rty aFthe applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perForm standard mairttenance af the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris dearing o�
root cutting and xo mairrtairt the wates service wrb stop box for operability and at such height as will ensure that it remains above the finished
