402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing er repair of any water of sewer line�nnecting the existing municipai system and any house ar building for which the
application is made,the owner or corrtractar shail be required to abtain a permit for sucfi eonnection,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter 11 of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Departmerrt shatl be norified. tt shail�unlawful to cover
ar�y connecting line until an�nspection has been made and such connection and the wark incideM thereto has been approwad by the City as a
proper and suitable connection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CONNEC770N
After the initial connection has been made to the water senvice curb stop box or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service Iead has
been extended to the property line for connection,the appiicant,owner,or accupant or user of such premises shali be liabie for a11 repairs
required to any water line and sewer lines necessary for connection of the premfses frorr�the main to tfie premises. If the property owner
requests malritenance senrice or repairs be performed by the City,Che property owner shall be charged for the costs of the maiMenan�andfor
repairs,including necessary street repairs at a rate set annuaily by an adminfstrative policy. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant,
owner,occuparrt or user to perform standard maiMenance of the sewer service li�e from the premises to the main induding debris dea�ing or
root wtting and to maintain the water service curb stop box for operability and at such height as wi{i ensure that it remairxs above the finished
