CHAPTER 402.WATER,STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWER

402.5 PERMIT FEE
Prior to constructing or repair of any water of sewer line connecting the existing municipat system and any house or building for which the
application is made,the owner or cantractor shall be required to obtain a permit for such connect(on,and shall pay a permit fee as provided in
Chapter li of this Code. After such connection has been made,the Water and Sewer Department shail be notlfied. R sha14 be unlawful ta cover
any connecting fine urrtil an inspection has been made and such connection ac�d the work incident thereto has been approved by the City as a
proper and suitable coanection.
402.06 REPAIRS AND MAfM'ENANCE TO CONNECTION
After the i�itial connection has been made to the water service curb stop boz or the sewer lead at the property line or a water service lead has
been extended to the pmperty line for connection,the applicant,owner,or axuparrt or user of such premises shall be IiaWe for ail cepairs
required to any water line and sewer fines necessary for connection of the premises from the main ta the premises. ff the property owner
requests maintenance service or repairs be performed by the City,the property owner shall be char�ed for the�of the mair�tenance andjor
repairs,including necessary street repatrs at a rate set annualty by an administrative policy. 1t shafl be the responsibility oF the applicarrt,
owner,occupant or user to perform standard mair�tenance of the sewer service line from the premises to the main including debris ciearing or
root cutting and to maintain the water senrice curb stop box for operability and at such height as wiil ensure that it remains above the�inished
